The British Consulate in Las Palmas protects and promotes the interests of approximately 1.8 million British visitors who visit the Consular district each year and over 25,000 British residents who live there. The Consular district includes Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. To assist the team with the current workload, the Consulate is seeking to recruit a part time Consular assistant based in Lanzarote to support the busy Las Palmas office.
